Frequently Asked Questions

Do patients need to create a username and password?
No. The default login method is a magic link sent to the patient's email. They click the link and they're in. No username, no password to forget. Email/password login is available as an optional alternative for patients who prefer it.
Can patients see their lab results in the portal?
Yes. Once a provider reviews and approves lab results, they are released to the patient portal. Patients can view individual markers, trend their values over time, and download PDF reports. Results stay in the portal indefinitely.
Is the portal HIPAA compliant?
Yes. All portal data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Magic links expire after 15 minutes. Sessions are scoped to the individual patient with row-level security enforced at the database level. Audit logs track every access event.
